A very polite and nice thing happened to a gaggle of Canada geese in Chilliwack.

The feathered family of eight B次元官网网址� two adults and six goslings B次元官网网址� were escorted across Yale Road at Nowell Street in downtown Chilliwack on Friday, April 29.

B次元官网网址淭oday one of our officers had the honour of keeping some of our nationB次元官网网址檚 most famous flock safe,B次元官网网址� RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Krista Vrolyk said.

It was Const. Gurpreet Manhas who helped the birds cross.

B次元官网网址淚t was a pleasure to help these geese cross the road. My concern was they were going to get hit by a car. IB次元官网网址檓 glad they made it safely,B次元官网网址� Const. Manhas said.

They crossed the street almost inside the lines of the crosswalk, but not quite. The event was captured on video by Amara Jacklynne Moore.

She said it was B次元官网网址渃uteB次元官网网址� to witness the crossing.

B次元官网网址淎 couple of us had quite the time making sure they got to the Salish pond safely after the officer had made sure they crossed the street safely,B次元官网网址� Moore said.
