A shout-out to two very kind Oak Bay employees (on their way to check out a pumping station) who, very early in the morning of Jan. 6, helped me dig out my snowbound car near Abkhazi Gardens. I had to make an appointment at VGH on that day.
If I had cancelled, I was told that I would have been put to the back of the line and would have had to wait a long time for the next appointment.
