LETTER: Langford needs to follow Colwood in clampdown on developer gifts

I was pleased the read that Colwood council is working to change the way developers are able to manipulate council with gifts and benefits and those recipients to recuse themselves from any matter of potential value to that developer.

This is an important step and I expect Langford mayor and council will go forward in the same way, that being the main reason they were voted in at the last election.

Hurrah for real democracy.
