Victoria International Airport (YYJ) received top honours at the 2024 Airports Council International Airport Service Quality Awards, being named best airport with under 2 million passengers in North America. 

Victoria Airport Authority CEO Elizabeth Brown said the awards represent the highest possible distinction in the industry.

The recognize the aviation industry's most comprehensive and trusted global airport experience review program, which measures consumer satisfaction by conducting live polls at 400 airports globally.

Brown said the awards program measures all touchpoints of the airport journey including airport ambience, efficiency and courtesy of staff, security screening processes, overall cleanliness as well as food and beverage and retail outlets.

YYJ will get formal recognition for the award at the ACI World Airport Experience Summit in Guangzhou, China in September 2025.
