Camosun College is hosting two job fairs next week to help students and graduates find their dream job.
The events, set to take place on Feb. 4 and 6 at the school's Interurban and Lansdowne campuses, respectively, will offer attendees access to over 100 industry leaders from a range of sectors.
Organized by Camosun's applied learning, cooperative education and career services department B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ also known as Career Lab B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ the fairs are larger than the school's career-specific events.
"By expanding to a mega fair format, we're not just creating a larger event, we're multiplying opportunities for our students," Claudia Sperling, the school's applied learning, cooperative education and career services director, said in a news release. "This new approach reflects both the increasingly interconnected nature of modern industries and our commitment to providing every student their unique path to opportunity."
Attendees will have a chance to network with industry recruiters actively seeking talent, explore cross-disciplinary career opportunities, learn about immediate job openings and apprenticeship programs and gain insights into industry trends.
Camosun will provide complimentary lunches to early arrivals. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the day.
The Mega Career Fair is open to all Camosun students and alumni at no cost. More on the event can be found at .
