A Langford gas service line was damaged during construction works on Monday (Nov. 18), says Fortis BC.
According to a spokesperson for Fortis BC, the damage left eight customers in the area without service.
The incident occurred on Bryn Maur Road before 9 a.m., a repair crew was on site shortly after, with the gas under control by 9.40 a.m.
Fortis BC estimate the repairs will be completed by midday, with no additional traffic closures in place.
