I was reading Mary HoganB次元官网网址檚 letter about cars with rolled-up windows, using AC, and I had to laugh. Clearly Ms. Hogan does not suffer allergies, have issues with exhaust, and has no problem with noise. She also clearly doesnB次元官网网址檛 have a kid in the back seat screaming about the wind in his face. Or a dog trying to jump out.

I read your recent article relative to a North Saanich councillorB次元官网网址檚 assertion that Sidney survives because of North Saanich. I quickly made sure of the date of publishing (June 30) thinking perhaps this was an April FoolB次元官网网址檚 joke.

The new deconstruction bylaw implemented recently by Victoria council will surely be a bureaucratic nightmare. Not only will this slow the demolition process, but the handling cost of materials salvaged also doesnB次元官网网址檛 make economic sense. Marketing these materials isnB次元官网网址檛 easy either.
