Otter Point Dental and Eagle Creek Village Dental are hosting their annual Free Smile Day.
Dr. Frank Van Gyn and his team decided to start this project five years ago to give back to the community because not everyone can afford proper dental care and it can become very costly, and painful in the long run.
The clinics will be taking patients first-come-first-serve, and will perform one extraction, filling or cleaning per adult or child.
In the first four years, the program has given away $88,000 of free dentistry to Greater Victoria residents, and is hoping to exceed $100,000 this year.
The event takes place this Monday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their offices in View Royal and Sooke.
