Despite going undefeated and giving up just one goal, the Bulldogs lost the provincial berth on the first tiebreaker B次元官网网址� goals against B次元官网网址� to Oak Bay, who went on to lose in the B.C. final to North VancouverB次元官网网址檚 Argyle Pipers.

The Bulldogs beat a strong Reynolds side last week on goals from Marisa Livingstone and Maddie Gill. Belmont also downed highly rated StellyB次元官网网址檚 B次元官网网址� seventh-place finisher in the 2013 B.C. championships B次元官网网址� last Thursday at home on Goudy Field when Livingstone and Lindsay Hargreaves tallied.

Rugby boys roll over Esquimalt

Jordan Worth scored four tries and five converts, while Cody Wist and Tom Stothard ran in for two tries each as Belmont overpowered Esquimalt 59-19 in senior boys rugby play last week. Jared George was named man of the match for Belmont.

Girls rugby side splits matches

A 22-10 victory over Spectrum and a 31-10 loss to Oak Bay rounded out girls rugby play last week. Alyson Gill, Nicole Weldam-Dickson and Charity Williams gave inspired performances for Belmont in the matches.
