PHOTOS: Halloween Haunt hits B.C. Aviation Museum in North Saanich

Over a hundred kids took part in the scavenger hunt in the first ever Halloween event at the museum

The B.C. Aviation Museum held its first-ever Halloween Haunt event on Friday, Oct. 25.

Children of all ages participated in a museum-wide scavenger hunt for treats while learning about British ColumbiaB次元官网网址檚 and CanadaB次元官网网址檚 aviation history.

With their scavenger hunt sheet, kids excitedly searched for all six stations, stamping each one to get treats from the two museum witches waiting at the end with their crystal ball.

Fifth grader Sawyer Maclure managed to get his treats after completing the hunt and raved about the Vickers Viscount, an old passenger plane decorated with cobwebs, skeletons, ghosts and body parts.

"They put a lot of work into it, especially the eerie fog when you enter so I'm so grateful for that."

This is the first time the museum has done a Halloween event for kids, attracting close to 150 little scavengers since doors opened at 10 a.m.

B.C. Aviation Museum says, they're looking forward to having the kids again, next fall.
