Former Belmont secondary student Cari Chow helped the University of Victoria Vikes capture team bronze at the Canadian Inter-University Sport championships last week in Winnipeg.
Chow's total of 342 at Southwood Golf and Country Club left her 21st overall individually. Chow opened with a 79, good for a ninth-place tie, but went 86-87-90 after that.
Boosted by teammate Megan Woodland's winning score of 297, the Vikes finished at 952, three shots behind the University of Montreal Carabins. UBC won the team title with a 914 total.
