Deep inside the belly of the Royal BC MuseumB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s much-anticipated new exhibit, Orcas: Our Shared Future , hangs a full-size whale skeleton: Rhapsody, also known as J32, from the Southern Resident Orcas. The skeleton looks as you might expect B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·” a long graceful spine and full ribcage B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·” except for two tiny splints of bone hanging underneath. TheyB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™re not connected to the rest of the skeleton, and donB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t seem to fit with the rest of the whaleB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s shape.
