Claremont secondary finished sixth in the boys' team standings at the 2011 B.C. high school cross country championships in Kelowna on Nov. 5.
Maguire finished the six-kilometre race in 23 minuts and 37 seconds 11 seconds ahead of the second place finisher, Christian Gravel of St. George's.
