ItB次元官网网址檚 coming down to the wire for the Victoria Cougars and Westshore Wolves in Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League playoff action.
The teams face off in the deciding game 7 of their first-round South Division playoff series tonight (March 3) at The Q Centre in Colwood (6 p.m. start).
The Cougars, winners of the first two games in the series, lost three straight to the Wolves before coming up with an emphatic 6-2 win Thursday in Esquimalt. Under the new all-Island playoff format, the winner takes on the vaunted Campbell River Storm, 4-1 winners in their series against Peninsula, in the next round of the playoffs starting next week.
