Just as integral in neighbourhoods in Vancouver and Surrey as they are in Prince George or Kelowna

We need full engagement from our political leadership so there are no missed opportunities to contain the coronavirus. Small mistakes will have big consequences. We cannot afford to make mistakes.

During these very difficult days, I want to thank our three major grocery stores B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·” managers and staff B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·” who have done such an amazing job of helping us to keep our pantries, refrigerators and freezers well stocked and maybe more.

I understand that the COVID-19 pandemic is occupying almost all our attention B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ and rightly so. But soon another issue is going to emerge in Oak Bay.

I ride my bike down Dallas Road often. I was going to try the new bike/pedestrian path until I saw all the signs telling me it was not open. No bikes were allowed, as they are still working on it.

I have come to the conclusion over the past week or so that yes, the Coronavirus should be taken seriously.
