The attractive if not practical traffic circle in LangfordB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s core is an accident waiting to happen.
Too much distraction for drivers: fountain, sometime lighted, abundant planting thatB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s not low growth and deficient crosswalk signalling.
How are drivers supposed to see the lighting strips imbedded in the asphalt and watch out for other cars and pedestrians B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·” all at the same time?
Better crosswalk warning signals are required, even if they do offend the décor. As is, seeking an alternate driving route is safer.
