Each vote has value to Canada

Re: Voting tests the worthiness of our citizenship, Letters, April 20, 2011.

I vote. The only year I did not was a result of a death in the family. However, it has taken me much of my adult life to fully understand and accept the value of the individual vote.

I admit that in my earlier years I took for granted my nation, my Canada. It has taken contrast and paradox to jolt me from my irresponsible slumber.

Thank you Gerald Pash for cementing the necessary message of the value of the individual vote.

Maybe if all is taken away, the value of CanadiansB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ ability to vote would gain new meaning. Canadians, my neighbours, your vote is valued. Take a look at the nations around us.

Life grants no guarantees. Today may not be tomorrow. So, vote.
