Dead-ending streets better for public roads in View Royal

The beleaguered View Royal residents proposing a barrier solution at Rudyard Road have my full sympathy B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ but not support. Their proposal is a private road solution for a public road that is fiscally prohibitive and needlessly complicated.

The dead end option for either Rudyard or Stormont road will permanently eliminate this vexing issue.

The additional time added to residentsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ egress is a small price to pay to maintain a bucolic neighbourhood and preserve property values.

Please conserve capital and accept the dead-end option. When the rat runners are exterminated, you will wonder why you didnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t do it sooner.

Meanwhile, the Town can add the savings to the promised traffic light at Watkiss Way and Burnside Road West to combat the commuter polluters that many more View Royal ratepayers have been requesting for a decade.
