We have a routine in my family. After dinner, we watch hockey or Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. ItB次元官网网址檚 comforting to have those few hours set aside.
Over the last several months, however, IB次元官网网址檝e noticed the same political ad several times, over and over in this time slot. You know the one, B次元官网网址淭his is Canada and I can carry a flag and IB次元官网网址檝e got a family and there are problems in Canada.B次元官网网址
IB次元官网网址檝e started muting the sound and ignoring the visuals. However, we have started talking about this B次元官网网址淧olitical Ad paid for by the Conservative Party of CanadaB次元官网网址 and how much it must be costing. These ads are every night, several times in the same shows, and are even in the expensive ad time during hockey games.
Who is paying for these ads? Are my tax dollars being used? Is the man in the ad paying for them? Did he take out a loan? Are the rumours true that wealthy big business tycoons and corporations are behind massive donations? I am curious about who will be expecting favours after the election. There is an old adage, B次元官网网址淗e who pays the piper, calls the tune.B次元官网网址
And besides, the federal party could have held back on the ads while we were having our provincial election, a real nuisance. They are very American in their constant hammering away which I know they will not stop, but could they at least change their ad, and maybe change the annoying lead actor at the same time.
