BEEF: To the person in the red jeep (?) who, for years now, has been travelling along Desmond Drive and laying on your car horn. Please try to realize what a disturbance this is to the entire neighborhood. I assume that you know someone who lives on this street and you feel the need to say BԪַhelloBԪַ every time you drive by. Have you heard of texting?

BEEF: To the person who had a beef about people leaving their doggy poop bags on trails and then recommending that if they didnBԪַt want to throw them in the trash, they should chuck the bag into the bushes.

At first I was outraged as I am one of the many who picks up those poop bags daily and disposes of them properly, but then I thought no one could be stupid enough to suggest such a thing. So, IBԪַm chalking their beef up to being bored and trying to get a rise out of people. It worked for me, momentarily.

BOUQUET: A big Bouquet to Phyllis in Metchosin, who saw a mother bear and her two cubs in her yard (Gazette June 17), and did not call BC Conservation to have them killed. We have taken a lot of their habitat away and the bears should not be shot just because they are looking for food to survive. If we can buy hotels for the homeless people, canBԪַt we come up with the money to relocate wildlife? Is that too political? Too much work? More expensive than a bullet? Wildlife matters! Good for you Phyllis!

BOUQUET: I would like to give a huge bouquet to the person who handed in my wallet at the Superstore in Langford, on Saturday afternoon, June 13. It is wonderful to know that there are people who are honest and caring in this world. I cannot thank you enough.

BOUQUET: Big Bunches of Bouquets and Cheers to all the grads of 2020 in SD62. You did it! Be proud of yourselves and all the best on your next journey!

BOUQUET: To the very nice couple in my place of retail employment. You were so kind and thoughtful to the customer ahead of you in the line at my register. This person was short of money and not able to afford to pay for the purchase so you stepped up and kindly offered to pay for the purchase. This person was very humble and appreciative and I must say you warmed my heart to my toes. I still have a lump in my throat. It is nice to know there are caring people that think of others before themselves. A little kindness goes a very long way.

BOUQUET: I read every single bouquet. What a beautiful idea. You should make this a tradition in your paper and keep it going forever, Nobody needs to hear other peopleBԪַs beefs, but we all need to hear about the good deeds people do. So my gratitude to you Goldstream Gazette

BOUQUET: To the kind family ahead of me at the Tim Hortons on Island Highway on Friday, June 19. Thanks for the coffeeBԪַIBԪַll pay it forward!

BEEF: To the driver on the Malahat in the white Ford F350 with the oversized tires. You should slow down. No need for speed on the MalahatBԪַthere have already been too many accidents!

BOUQUET: To all the moms and dads who have been struggling to get through the virtual classroom and homework. This has not been easy on families or the kids. I hope everyone has a great summer and we are able to have a new normal for kids in September.

BOUQUET: To MOLE on Millstream, Thank you for bringing some great flavour to the West Shore, I am sorry to hear you will be closing. We wish you all the best on your next journey!
