BOUQUET RESPONSE: Although I recognize this could go on and on, I felt as though I needed to write in to respond to the Bouquet in the June 24 paper for the returned wallet at Superstore June 13.
I think that may be from the lady with the dark hair whose wallet (pink I think) I found in a shopping cart who was looking for it just as I was turning it in. I suppose I just felt as though I needed to send her a thank you to let her know the bouquet was seen - if it is the lady who said she would hug me if not for social distancing.
This is just what we should all do B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ be kind and honest. I was mortified as all I could think of was what a pain it would be to have to replace all of oneB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s ID so I am just glad I was lucky enough to find it and quickly get it back to its owner! It was a pleasure to see the look of pure relief. IB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™d like to let her know I saw and very much appreciated the Bouquet!
3 BIG BOUQUETS: First one goes to the nice people on Stornoway Drive who offered my wife help, water and even a snack while she waited for a tow recently. Second one goes to Westshore Towing for being so professional. Third one goes to Rebecca Q, my daughterB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s teacher at Belmont for going the extra mile this year.
BOUQUET: A Big Bouquet to all the students in SD62 Grade 5 classes. With all the grad cheers going out to the Grade 12 students I just wanted to say congratulations on your graduation from Grade 5. You are onto middle school, a huge milestone and another step into independence. Keep up the great work and all the best in your middle school journey
BEEF: Big beef to the young lady shopping at the grocery store, who upon entering the aisle I was leaving and I kindly pointed out the arrow direction in case she was unaware. She asked if I was the police and cursed at me, then continued to proceed against the arrow. No wonder there are problems in our society B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ no respect nor willingness to abide by rules in place for the betterment of us all.

BOUQUET: A huge thank you to the gardeners responsible for the incredible display of wild flowers on the banks of Constellation Avenue. It is beautiful and IB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™m sure the bees and butterflies are very happy.
BEEF: To Canada Post for charging air mail fees to Europe for letters and parcels delivered seven weeks later. If you cannot secure air transportation in this time of limited air transport, you should not charge for service you are not able to provide.
BEEF: To Colwood council for not listening to Colwood residents to open Ocean Boulevard. Ocean Boulevard became a road in 1930 after the Lagoon bridge was built. ColwoodB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s recent survey indicated citizens want the road open. Advertising the road was to open July 3, only to turn around and announce it is closed until the end of September does not sit well with Colwood voting residents.
BEEF: To people in cars lined up to pick up fast food in drive-thru services, blocking the road for traffic to other destinations, sometimes even blocking crossings.
BOUQUET: To the people who are physically distance by moving over and walking single-file on the Galloping Goose trail, we seniors appreciate your courtesy. Thank you.
BOUQUET: Just wanted to say that during all the corona stuff that is happening out there and all the thanking that is going on, no one is thanking all the technology people out there who are keeping your cell phones running, and your TV and computers working. Thank you very much.
