BIG BOUQUET: to GizmoB次元官网网址檚 Computers. If you have not discovered this gem of Langford you should. He was approachable, knowledgeable and patient with me about my computer problem.
BIG BOUQUET to both Langford (for sponsoring) and the lovely ladies from Victoria Carriage Tours in Veterans Park this past season. We had Mandy (and horse Mack) for both our family rides and thoroughly enjoyed her history of Langford lessons and cheery disposition. Even though the nights were cold, it didnB次元官网网址檛 dampen the enthusiasm of these ladies, and we appreciate the City of Langford for helping to bring what we hope is a family tradition into our West Shore Christmas season!
GIANT BOUQUET: to Depend-A-Dor. My garage door opener failed and I had a medical appointment at 11:30. A phone call at 9:25 had Depend-A-Dor at my home, my vehicle outside and my problem fixed by 10:30. Efficient, quick service by the receptionist and the technician of a prime local company. I made my appointment on time.
BIG BOUQUET: to the staff at LifeLabs on Goldstream Avenue. Arriving at 6:30 a.m. for tests, I was surprised to see 30-plus people ahead of me. It didnB次元官网网址檛 phase the staff B次元官网网址� they calmly checked us in, told us an approximate wait time with speedy professionalism, and completed the tests with efficiency and a sense of humour. Thanks go to Lorraine, Dale, Natasha, Judy, Dolma, Tessa and Miranda.
BEEF: to those drivers who feel the need to back into a parking spot. This time of year the parking lots are busy with vehicles coming from both directions, not to mention pedestrians everywhere. When you have three vehicles behind you and some in front, just pull in. ItB次元官网网址檚 far more dangerous backing in than backing out B次元官网网址� someone wants your spot, they will wait. Those waiting for you to figure out how to back in are impatient and that can lead to problems. It took five minutes for an inexperienced driver in an F-150 to park the vehicle in the crazy Costco lot. The person swearing in the vehicle behind you wasnB次元官网网址檛 me B次元官网网址� I was laughing at the performance!
BOUQUET: I would like to thank all of the staff past and present for keeping the Westhills YMCA open and clean through the pandemic. Your efforts and constant good attitudes have gone a long way towards making life seem more like the old normal. It has been a real lifeline for me and a big part of my life, all the while letting me stay in shape and healthy. What a huge asset to our community and I want you all to know it.
A BIG BOUQUET: of poinsettias to the Colwood Fire Department for their Santa Go Round. My boy loved it. We look forward to this event every year and we were so happy to see the fire department helping Santa along the way. Merry Christmas!
BOUQUET: I know this has been said but what a lovely drive around the community this Saturday with our family. The City of Langford blew it out of the park with their decorations, and all the homes that were decorated along our route put a smile on our faces. Our family tradition of driving around and looking at the light displays was fantastic this year. Every year I think it gets better, keep up the great work West Shore. Happy holidays and all the best in 2022 to every family in our community.
BOUQUET: A shout-out to Bear Mountain and their fabulous Tinsel Tunnel at Ponds Landing. If you want a great backdrop for a selfie or family photo donB次元官网网址檛 miss this. Our family photos look amazing!
BOUQUET: to the mama that left the Christmas card taped to the change table area at West Shore Town Centre. I saw this on social media, and the mom that found it shared it for everyone to see. What a nice message to send to a random mom. ItB次元官网网址檚 not always easy being a mom but the rewards are amazing, and your message could not come at a better time for many families. Merry Christmas to you and your family. I see you too!
