West Shore RCMP is investigating after the report of a carjacking in the parking lot near McDonaldB次元官网网址檚 on Millstream Road in Langford.
On Monday at 9 p.m., West Shore RCMP said they received a 911 call of a robbery and vehicle theft.
Police responded to the scene and found a 52-year-old man who told them he was carjacked while sitting idle in the parking lot.
Police said the robbery occurred when the suspect opened the manB次元官网网址檚 car door, grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him out of the vehicle and onto the ground. The suspect drove away, nearly running over the man, police said.
The victim sustained minor injuries to his wrist, elbow and hip and was transported to hospital.

The suspect is a Caucasian man, roughly 30 to 40 years old, who is around five foot seven inches tall and 160 pounds. Police said he was wearing a black jacket, white pants, beige boots and a black toque.
The stolen vehicle is a white 2009 Nissan Versa with a parking pass that reads B次元官网网址淯85B次元官网网址 in the rear window and has a B.C. licence plate.
