Wednesday was a stinky one for Colwood Fire Rescue.
Just before 4 p.m. the department responded to a fire in a garbage can near Ryder Hesjedal Way and Latoria Boulevard. One engine responded and the fire was quickly surpressed.
A little over an hour later, the department was called to a dumpster fire near Red Barn Market.
B次元官网网址淚t was outside of the building so there was no exposure to any large buildings,B次元官网网址� said Assistant Fire Chief Greg Chow.
Three engines responded and the fire was extinguished within 15 minutes, Chow said.
Investigations into both fires are ongoing and a cause is not known at this time.
