High winds knocked down a tree, which fell across power lines. The tree aso hit a vehicle travelling along Saanich Road.
Traffic flow in the area has been diverted, and members of the public are encouraged to use alternate routes. Saanich Road between Greenridge Crescent and McKenzie Ave will be closed.
Stay safe around fallen power lines. Follow these rules if you discover a downed line.
