A man died as a result of injuries after being hit by a vehicle in North Saanich on Sunday.
On Dec. 30 North Saanich Fire Rescue, BC Ambulance and Central Saanich Police attended the scene of a single vehicle collision on East Saanich Road.
Police determined the man, a 68-year-old North Saanich resident, was walking in a crosswalk on East Saanich Road at Barrett Drive when he was struck by the vehicle B次元官网网址� a silver Volvo station wagon B次元官网网址� travelling southbound.
The man was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.
In a statement from Sidney/North Saanich RCMP Cpl. Chris Manseau said although the investigation is ongoing, speed and alcohol B次元官网网址渁re not being considered factorsB次元官网网址� but police have not ruled out B次元官网网址渁ny criminality.B次元官网网址�
