ON THE AGENDA: Victoria council considers short-term rental regs, tenant relocation policy, cannabis retailers

Council to hear results of public comments on short term rentals, protections for Victoria tenants

Short-term rental regulations, a study on rental units in Victoria and approving a transitional housing facility are on the agenda Thursday (Nov. 23) for Victoria city council.

HereB次元官网网址檚 what council will be discussing at Thursday morningB次元官网网址檚 committee of the whole meeting:

  • business regulations, feedback from the public
  • Rental housing study results, presentation of reportB次元官网网址檚 results
  • Four-storey and five-storey residential buildings, and townhouses in the
  • New community garden at Franklin Green, proposed by North Park Neighbourhood Association

And at council Thursday evening:

  • Build 3 additional houses on panhandle lot at 515 Foul Bay Rd., (public hearing)
  • temporary use permit (public hearing)
  • first and second readings
  • Emergency Program bylaw, first, second and third readings
  • Adopting bylaws on solid waste, waterworks, sanitary sewers and storm drains
  • Rezoning applications for : The Green Hart Health and Wellness Inc. at 475 Gorge Rd. E, Gorge Medijuana Dispensary at 603 Gorge Rd. E, AAA Dispensary at 2639 Quadra St. (bylaw readings)

While both committee of the whole and council meetings are open to everyone, there are no opportunities for public comment at committee of the whole. Those wishing to address council or speak at a public hearing can sign up for councilB次元官网网址檚 Thursday evening meetings.
