A man carrying weapons and drugs was arrested in Oak Bay Wednesday.

28 yr old man just arrested w/ drugs and weapons at Cattle Point. Several charges being considered.

According to Oak Bay Police, an officer was proactively patrolling the Cattle Point area of Uplands Park at approximately 1:30 p.m. when they found the 28-year-old man.

B次元官网网址淭he person appeared to be slouched over in a vehicle,B次元官网网址� described Deputy Chief Ray Bernoties.

In addition to weapons, police say the individual had a B次元官网网址渟ufficient amountB次元官网网址� of individually packaged substances believed to include heroin and meth.

B次元官网网址淭he subject has a record and was on conditions to not possess weapons,B次元官网网址� Bernoties noted. B次元官网网址淏reaching his conditions is among the charges weB次元官网网址檙e considering; we will also be considering charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking.B次元官网网址�

Bernoties added that the individual was arrested without incident.
