An incident on Kemp Lake this afternoon (Dec. 14) caused RCMP, BC Ambulance and Otter Point Fire Rescue to respond to an apparent boating accident that called for a water rescue response.
Otter Point Fire confirmed that they received a call at 3:15 and responded to the site.
On-line accounts of the incident said that a canoeing accident sent two individuals into the water but that a successful water rescue has occurred.
Those accounts have, as yet, not been independently confirmed.
