Graduates from high schools around the West Shore and Greater Victoria will be able to ride transit for free beginning this week.
As part of B.C. TransitB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s GradPASS program, grads will receive two days of free, unlimited transit travel during the month of June.
Students simply scratch off their two chosen travel days on the card and show it to the bus driver. The card is non transferable.
The pass is part of a counterattack program first introduced in Vancouver in 1988. The Victoria Regional Transit System first embraced it in 1990.
