Firefighters helped rescue a construction worker 100 feet in the air.

A Langford Fire Rescue member climbed up a tower crane, with Colwood Fire sending two more approximately 20 feet out and 100 feet in the air on a ladder truck to attend to the operator of a tower crane experiencing a medical issue.

Langford Fire Rescue got the call to a construction site near Reunion Avenue and Jacklin Road just before 8 a.m. and the construction worker was brought down from the crane and was sent into the care of BC Ambulance in under 10 minutes.
