Approximately 85,000 BC Hydro customers between Oak Bay and Duncan B次元官网网址� including Saanich and the West Shore B次元官网网址� were without power Friday afternoon.
BC Hydro is citing the cause of mass outages that occurred at approximately 1:15 p.m. on Sept. 16 and impacted approximately 85,000 customers as B次元官网网址渢ransmission circuit failure.B次元官网网址�
Some areas reported having their power restored within about 15 minutes of the initial outage. As of 3 p.m., BC Hydro is reporting all customers on the south Island have their power restored.
