The judges were looking for a photo that captured Goldstream as a family-friendly place, she said. The winning photo portrayed Goldstream as youth-oriented.
Judges also based their opinions on composition and colour.

More than 100 photos were submitted for the contest, which ran from January to mid-July.
Callioux is a local photographer and owner of West Coast Wonders Photography studio in Langford.
