Canada is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, and that means the City of Victoria will be presenting leading up to and including Canada Day on July 1.
There will be more than 100 free performances across two stages at VictoriaB次元官网网址檚 Inner Harbour, complete with family-friendly activities, multicultural performances and local food vendors. And donB次元官网网址檛 forget about the spectacular evening fireworks to cap off Canada Day!
The festivities will kick off on (June 21) with Ship Point playing host to many of the activities leading up to July 1. The all-ages venue will also feature craft beer and cider service for the adults, before switching to a craft soda station for the family on Canada Day.
Headlining this yearB次元官网网址檚 will be Tegan and Sara on Friday, June 30 and the Arkells on Saturday, July 1. Additional performers will include The Funk Hunters, Delhi 2 Dublin, En Karma, Carmanah, De Temps Antan, Dirty Mountain, Stella Swanson and the Rosie Joyfuls, Valdy & The Salt Spring ChildrenB次元官网网址檚 Choir, among others.

The two-day main stage performances will take place from 5:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Friday) and 3 p.m. - 10:15 p.m. (Saturday). Then fireworks will light up the night sky above VictoriaB次元官网网址檚 Inner Harbour at 10:20 p.m., accompanied by music compiled by DJ Boitano.
DonB次元官网网址檛 forget to take part in the Living Flag on the Leg lawn at 2 p.m. with 4,000 free red and white T-shirts available to the public. Organizers hope to attract up to 5,000 participants for this yearsB次元官网网址� photo.
Other include a family fun zone and Flavour of Canada international food village.
The Federal Government provided $400,000 to the City of Victoria, in partnership with the Greater Victoria Spirit Committee, through its to host official events on July 1.
