A 73-year-old woman is in critical condition after being run over by her car in her driveway Thursday night.

The accident occurred on Monterey Drive near Cheyenne Place at about 8 p.m. A neighbour was first on scene and was able to jack up the car.

He said police talked to witnesses but donB次元官网网址檛 know how the incident occurred. The car was not turned on at the time of the accident.

A section of the street was closed as the RCMP investigated and a traffic reconstructionist was called to the scene.
