West Shore RCMP are asking for anyone with information on a man who was located unconscious, and later died on Tuesday, Dec. 10.
At around 10:45 p.m., RCMP officers attended an area at Claude Road near Goldstream Avenue for a 40-year-old man who was found unconscious on the sidewalk.
BC Emergency Health Services and Langford Fire Department crews attempted to resuscitate the Langford man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
"At this point there is nothing to suggest there is any foul play involved, however, West Shore RCMP continue to investigate the circumstances of this manB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s death," noted a news release from West Shore RCMP.
Police are asking anyone walking or driving on Claude Road on Dec. 10, between 9 and 10 p.m. who may have seen the man with his dog, before he became unconscious, to call the RCMP.
Police say he was walking a black, medium-sized dog and was wearing dark jeans and a light-coloured coat.
"Additionally, anyone driving in the area of Claude Road and Goldstream Avenue who has dash camera footage of their travels is asked to call the West Shore RCMP," noted the release. "If you think you have any information that could assist police in this investigation please call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264."
