West Shore RCMP confirmed they executed a search warrant in relation to suspected drug trafficking on a property in the area of William Head and Taylor Road in Metchosin on Thursday, Dec. 12.
Residents noted several officers in the area, and earlier in the day, RCMP confirmed police are conducting an investigation involving a residence.
"The public can expect to see a large police presence in the area as officers continue their investigation. As this investigation is ongoing we cannot provide further details at this time," noted a news release from the RCMP.
