Legion president Norm Scott said the plan is to open in a few weeks

LangfordB次元官网网址檚 Royal Canadian Legion is set to reopen in a matter of weeks as the final few pieces of renovations near completion.

Branch 91 has been closed for more than a year, with the building on Station Avenue getting a major refresh. Changes can be seen throughout, with a new layout for the auditorium, bar, kitchen, washrooms, plus office space.

Labour shortages and prices of materials provided challenges when work started, according to Justin de Goesbriand, project manager with Sawyer Construction.

A few finishes still need to be done, with de Goesbriand estimating the renovations will be completed in a few weeks.

Legion president Norm Scott said they were waiting to hear on approval for their liquor licence. If approved, the plan is to open up the auditorium within a matter of weeks.
