The District of Metchosin is asking residents to complete a survey to help it develop an active transportation plan.
B次元官网网址淲eB次元官网网址檝e had input from residents, whether they walk, roll or ride horseback, who would like to see improved safety and connectivity throughout the community,B次元官网网址 said Metchosin councillor Sharie Epp in an email. B次元官网网址淲e hope as many residents as possible will respond to the survey to help the district set priorities and make decisions.B次元官网网址
Survey responses will help Metchosin identify thoroughfares, such as school routes and connections between existing trails, that residents think should better accommodate folks travelling by active means. These responses will then inform long-term investments in active transportation infrastructure.
B次元官网网址淭he main roads we have are getting busier and busier, particularly with the influx of people who come here from Langford and Colwood,B次元官网网址 Epp added. B次元官网网址淥ur roads are ... less safe than they were.B次元官网网址
The is available to Metchosin residents from now until Monday, Oct. 7.
