A Greater Victoria charity announced that they will donate $1 million to CanadaB次元官网网址檚 first public, non-profit, long-term care village.

The Eldercare Foundation, a charity dedicated to raise and stewarding funds to enhance seniors quality of life, announced their donation to Providence Living at The Views, a new long-term living model based on the concept of a dementia village in Comox.

The Views, which is set to open in July, includes a five-year research study of the care village led by the Centre for Advancing Health Outcomes. The evaluation will provide insights to build more person-centred care villages across the province and beyond.
