Explore the history of Colwood firefighters at museum's open house

The Colwood Volunteer Fire Department dates back to 1939

The Colwood Firefighters Historical Museum is opening its doors to the public on Saturday, Aug. 3.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. visitors will have the opportunity to step back in time to 1939, when the history of the Colwood Volunteer Fire Department began.

Whilst browsing the artifacts and displays, there will also be a chance to meet some of the Colwood fire members.

The museum is located next to the Colwood Fire Hall at 3215 Metchosin Road.
