As a child of 11, my family escaped the horrors of war in London and settled on Curry Road in Oak Bay. Having lived in Vancouver where I raised my family for over 74 years, I returned last November as a 93-year-old. Well, I am in love with Oak Bay all over again!

Canada is experiencing a health-care crisis and B.C. Is no exception.

Once upon a time, there was a lovely heritage house situated on a double lot on St. Patrick Street in the District of Oak Bay. Mayor Stew Young and several current councillors announced they were running in the next election under the banner of Community First. I have several questions.

In the Sept. 8 PNR Richard Novek expressed disappointment that North Saanich council voted to limit their commitment to the Galoran roundabout project. It is true that in an inflationary world, post-COVID or otherwise, construction projects can see price fluctuations.

Now is the time to support Ukrainians on Vancouver Island.

What if the requirement for parking were tied to the vehicle, rather than the driverB次元官网网址檚 residence? Seriously, doesnB次元官网网址檛 that make sense? Parking should be attached to the car, not the house. No vehicle? No parking needed.

As a resident who lives at the north end of Sidney, it has become increasingly difficult to access the highway or the businesses on the west side of it.
