Quarter-final play wrapped up on Thursday, setting the stage for FridayB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s semi-final round in all four tiers at the BC School Sports Boys Basketball Provincial Championships at Langley Events Centre.
The semi-final round begins at 3:30 p.m. with the 1A and 2A Tournament playing on Centre Court while 3A and 4A will play on the Arena Bowl Court.
In the 1A Tournament, it will be No. 1 St. JohnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s School against No. 4 Southpointe Academy and No. 2 Haida Gwaii against No. 3 Unity Christian.
The 2A Tournament sees Pacific Academy (#1) versus Westsyde (#4) and Summerland (#2) facing Collingwood (#3).
And while the 1A and 2A tournaments held to form, the 3A Tournament features top-seed St. Thomas More Collegiate against No. 5 Wellington and No. 2 Windsor against 11th-seed Mark R. Isfeld, which is looking for its third consecutive upset win.
The 4A Tournament has Spectrum (#1) against St. GeorgeB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s School (#5) and Dover Bay (#2) facing Terry Fox (#6).

#3 Unity Christian Flames 99 #6 Immaculata Mustangs 40
A six-point game through a quarter, the defending champion Unity Christian Flames got hot, extending the lead to 28 at the half in a 99-40 win over KelownaB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s Immaculata Mustangs.
Unity Christian B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ the defending champs from Chilliwack B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ had five players in double figures led by Caleb FriesenB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s 24 points with Rio Kingma had 18. Mateo Rizzo led the Mustangs with 11.
#2 Haida Gwaii 78 #7 Sentinel Spartans 52
A 26-point third quarter helped Haida Gwaii open things up as they advanced to the semi-final round after defeating the Sentinel Spartans 78-52.
Naden Brown-Sjolund led the team on Thursday with 23 points, while a pair of key returnees in Logan Jones and Loay Almahamid chipped in with 17 and 16 points, respectively, while Lukas Pinchak had 21 for Sentinel.

The top-seed St. JohnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s School Eagles are into the top four following a 75-47 win over the Aberdeen Hall Gryphons. Kian Afshar led the way with 21 points with Viv Anderson-Francois and Lucas Pawlowski adding 18 and 18 points, respectively. Parker Steele was the top scorer for Aberdeen Hall with 18 points.
#4 Southpointe Academy Titans 95 #5 Duncan Christian Chargers 88
Led by 36 points from Devin Khunkhun, the Southpointe Academy Titans outlasted the Duncan Christian Chargers 95-88. Nidhan Brar and Armaan Kanwal both had 18 points for the Titans while Grayson Dunn led the Chargers with 36.
2A Tournament
#3 Collingwood Cavaliers 64 #6 King George Dragons 54
In a rematch of the Vancouver Sea-to-Sky zone championship game, it was the defending provincial champion Collingwood Cavaliers (West Vancouver) earning a huge quarter-final win, 64-54 over the King George Dragons.
The teams were tied at 33 in the third quarter before the Cavaliers used a 23-8 run to blow things wide open. The Dragons could not get the deficit back down to single digits the rest of the way.
Sam Li had the hot hand for Collingwood, finishing with 26 points and six 3-pointers. The Dragons Kio Nickel and Faisal Shawwa each had 17.
#2 Summerland Rockets 83 #7 Notre Dame Jugglers 77
The Summerland Rockets survived a quarter-final scare, scoring the final eight points as they edged the Notre Dame Jugglers 83-77.
The Rockets B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ unbeaten on the season and the No. 2 seed in the tournament B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ received 34 points from Desmond Ducheck and another 22 courtesy of Mateo Ducheck. Caleb Parrotta and Connor Mabel were the high scorers for Notre Dame with 34 and 20 points, respectively.

The No. 1 seed Pacific Academy Breakers drained 10 shots from beyond the arc as they defeated the Abbotsford Christian Knights 81-66. Judah Ashbee B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ who connected on four of those triples B´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·“ led the way for the Breakers with 28 points while Colton Redekop was the KnightsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ high scorer with 19.

The Westsyde Whundas held off the St. Michaels University School Blue Jags 73-63. The Blue Jags had cut the lead to one-point on two separate occasions in the final quarter, but ultimately fell short by 10. Kiyo Brown led the Whundas with 21 points while the Blue JagsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ Dani Pelyhe led all scorers with 25.
3A Tournament
#11 Mark R. Isfeld 90 #3 St. Patrick Celtics 79
For the second straight day, the Mark R. Isfeld were upset winners, as this time the 11th-seeded squad from Courtenay defeated the No. 3 St. Patrick Celtics 90-79.
Leading 80-77 late in the fourth quarter, the Ice extended the lead to five and then put the game away from the free throw line as they scored their final eight points from the charity stripe.
Daxin Moldenhauer and Parker Guile scored 27 and 23 points, respectively for the Ice with Nate Boan adding 19. Jaiden Quan had 18 to lead the Celtics with Dhyne Cotin adding 16 while Riley Santa Juana finishing with 15.
#2 Windsor Wolves 62 #7 Richmond Colts 53
The Windsor WolvesB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ three-headed attack of Oscar Rouillard, Perrin Taylor and Lukas Chung were too much for the Richmond Colts.
Rouillard led the way with 23 while Taylor added 20 with Chung chipping in 14 as the Vancouver Sea-to-Sky champions are through to the next round.
Tied at 27 in the first half, the Wolves scored six straight to close the quarter and then opened the third with another 5-0 run, building an 11-point lead. The Colts did manage to get within four to start the final period but couldnB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™t get any closer.
Clement Lai finished as RichmondB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s top scorer with 16.
#1 St. Thomas More Collegiate Knights 56 #8 Pitt Meadows Marauders 45
Down after one quarter, the top-seed St. Thomas More Collegiate Knights locked down defensively, allowing just eight points in each of the second and third quarters, defeating the Pitt Meadows Marauders 56-45.
Zeru Abera led the Knights with 15 points while both Jacob Oreta and Logan Ball scored a dozen apiece. Brodie Magnuson with 13 and Justin Best with 12 were the top scorers for Pitt Meadows.
#5 Wellington Wildcats 68 #4 M.E.I. Eagles 66
The Wellington Wildcats held off a late charge from the M.E.I. Eagles. The Eagles trailed by 11 and got within a basket, but their comeback attempt ultimately ran out of time as Wellington held on for the 68-66 win.
Grayson Ritzand led the Wildcats with 22 points while Zeke Lee had 21 and Mercer Thiessen added 20 for the Eagles.
4A Tournament
#2 Dover Bay Dolphins 95 #7 Holy Cross Crusaders 72
Joe and Frank Linder combined for 64 points as the Dover Bay Dolphins were 95-72 winners over the Holy Cross Crusaders. And the brothers took turns, with Frank scoring 25 of his 27 in the first half while Joe had 26 in the third and fourth quarters.
Logan Mirkovich finished with 24 for Holy Cross while Okezi Urefe had 16.
#6 Terry Fox Ravens 92 #3 Vancouver College Fighting Irish 83
Down by as many as 20 points in the first half, the Terry Fox Ravens used a pair of lengthy scoring runs as they upset the Vancouver College Fighting Irish 92-83.
The first came in the third quarter, as the Ravens pushed their way back into the contest with a 28-10 run. The teams were tied at 63 early in the fourth before Terry Fox rattled off 18 unanswered points, effectively putting the game out of reach.
Marvin Reyes was the sparkplug for Terry Fox with 41 points, including 7 3-pointers. Ashton Wong had 25 points to lead the Irish.
#5 St. GeorgeB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s School Saints 88 No. 13 Abbotsford Senior Panthers 58
The St. GeorgeB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s School Saints came out flying, putting up 54 first-half points as they dominated the Abbotsford Senior Panthers 88-58. Dorian Glogovac and Inno Decottis each had 18 for the Saints. Harshaan Rai also had 18 points for the Panthers.
#1 Spectrum Thunder 77 #8 Mount Boucherie Bears 59
Justin Hinrichsen dropped 28 points as the defending champion and No. 1 seed Spectrum Thunder defeated the Mount Boucherie Bears 77-59. The BearsB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™ Hayato Miyakazi led all scorers with 31 points.
