Back from a sold-out U.K. tour, Victoria indie rock darlings The Bankes Brothers are set to take the stage in Victoria at the end of January.

Presented by The Zone 91.3 and Top Shelf Productions, the five-piece band will perform shows at Upstairs nightclub in Bastion Square on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1.

"ItB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s been nearly a year since the last sellout at Upstairs and since, these local favourites have been cooking up a new show and have curated two nights of spectacular West Coast talent to mark their Island return," Stephen Franke, a co-founder of the artist management company Blue Heron Music, said in a news release.

A colourful lineup of B.C. bands will support the band's double-header.

"Vancouver twin sister alt-pop duo Fionn, fresh off of a nationwide tour with JJ Wilde, and quickly rising local and former Zone 91.3 Band of the Month, Wet Future, will open up the weekend," Franke said in the same news release. "The second show brings Uncle Strut and their delightful brand of surf and psych to the Island, with Victoria pop-rock staple OK Charlie in to start the night."
