David GogoB次元官网网址檚 seminal brand of electric blues drew more than 200 people to the Dave Dunnet Community Theatre on Saturday for a fundraiser in memory of West Shore RCMP officer Sarah Beckett.
The event raised more than $2,100 which will go toward scholarships for students from the Sooke School District facing financial barriers to post- secondary education.
The concert was sponsored by the City of Langford, the Goldstream B次元官网网址 Gazette, Westside InstaPrint, 100.3 The Q and the Holiday Inn Express in Colwood. Beckett, the mother of two young children, died on April 5, 2016 after her RCMP cruiser was struck by a pickup truck in Langford.
