Religious scholar David Goa at Pearson College

Talk will explore whether faith divides or unites us

The question of whether religion, faith and an understanding of God unties or divides people will be explored at Pearson College on Valentine's Day.

Faith and religion scholar David Goa will explore that topic and answer questions from students from around the world during a Global Affairs session at the Metchosin campus.

Goa is the founding director of the Chester Ronning Centre for the Study of Religion and Public Life at the University of Alberta, where he teaches seminars and workshops on leadership in times of deep difference, tradition and modern culture and issues of religion and public life, among other topics.

The event is on Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the Max Bell Hall.
