Want to learn how to use fireworks safely in advance of Halloween next Monday?
The Town of View Royal is hosting a fireworks safety course this Saturday (Oct. 29), starting at 1 p.m. in the Public Safety Building, home of the fire hall, at 333 Island Hwy.
Registration is encouraged for interested parties. Call 250-479-7322 to sign up. The event is scheduled to run until 2:30 p.m.
