A truckload of food has been donated to the Goldstream Food Bank by the Langford Community Association, just in time to help those in the community struggling with the cost of the holidays.

Donations were collected by the group at their food drive, held at Thrifty Foods, Belmont Market, on Dec. 14.

The support from the Langford Community Association comes at a time when the Goldstream Food Bank has been appealing for donations to support the community.

So far in 2024, the organization has seen demand for its services continue to rise, with a record number of 159 hampers distributed on one day in November.
