Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site will be home to its 17th annual Historic Military Encampment this weekend (May 18 and 19), featuring
original equipment, uniforms and motor vehicles from 100 years of CanadaB´ÎÔª¹ÙÍøÍøÖ·™s military
history.
Visitors will be able to visit marquee and bell tents throughout the historic military site, each representing various periods from the 1850s to the 1950s.
Military re-enactors will be in costume and available to chat about life at the fort during the various eras of its history.
The events runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Admission to the fort is $3.90 per adult, $1.90 for youth, $3.40 for seniors and $9.80 for families.
