If your child is part of the French immersion program in the Sooke School District, next Tuesday's meeting is one you may like to attend.

The SD62 chapter of Canadian Parents for French British Columbia and Yukon is holding a chapter meeting Oct. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the library at 脡cole Millstream elementary, 626 Hoylake Ave.

All parents or guardians are welcome and encouraged to attend as it is a great place to meet others who have children in French immersion and to discuss current situations. A number of the chapter's executives will also be on hand to answer questions about the CPF, available supports or French programming.

This meeting is also special as there will be the opportunity to vote for vacant executive positions not filled during the AGM. If you're interested in a position or would like more information, email CPFSooke@hotmail.com.
